Carson’s has quite the Chicago reputation. Carson’s brings to Milwaukee a similar menu and what promises to be a swanky space. Here’s a look at the menu: BBQ baby-back ribs, chicken and pork chops; steaks from a 10 ounce filet to a black Angus NY strip. There’s also a Prime burger , shrimp Dejonghe , char-grilled salmon and more.

Quickly making a splash at the East Side food hall Crossroads Collective, Heaven’s Table creates heavenly plates of slow-smoked Texas brisket, hickory-smoked St. Louis-style ribs, pork shoulder, sausage and smoked chicken. Get the brisket!
Thirty-foot ceilings and rustic red, blue and beige walls create a pretty amazing feel inside the bar, and the airy pub has room for plenty of beer drinkers. The beer list is solid. Pabst is on tap, of course, and is joined by 12 Wisconsin beers (New Glarus, Lakefront, etc.). The bottle list includes roughly 40 options, and if you feel like slumming it, you can order a can of Old Milwaukee.
