Romeo Montague crashes Juliet Capulet’s party, and in one moment they find what most people believe they’ll never had in their lifetime. Less than a hundred hours later, there’s been a wedding, a banishment, a sex scene, some domestic abuse, and a horrible miscommunication – and five people are dead. What the hell went wrong? Between an iconic balcony and a double suicide, Voices Found Rep’s debut production is a fresh and stylish take on Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, set in an abstract post-punk world, and aims to portray the heart and humanity of a timeless story.
