Emperor Penguin Records, Hello Cello, LLC and Music Review Roulette Present: CELLOPALOOZA! A night of celebration for this unique and evocative instrument, brought to you by 5 amazing bands that feature cello in their original music! If you’re a fan of the beautiful sounds this versatile instrument can make, don’t miss this special evening! Music starts at 8PM SHARP! All Ages! Tickets through Eventbrite HERE $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Warhola Cats are an indie band with lyrical songs varying between the poignant and the absurd; with themes of longing, anticipation, existential dread, and heartfelt anthems capturing the moment as it passes.
Aaron Kerr’s Dissonant Creatures are an instrumental group from Minneapolis/St. Paul offering a unique fusion of jazz/classical/rock compositions with the added sonic bonus of “conducted improvisation” and not one but 2 cellos!
NINETEEN THIRTEEN are a cello/drums duo featuring Victor DeLorenzo (founding member of the Violent Femmes) and Janet Schiff. No strangers to the Milwaukee music scene, they continue to explore the cool and dynamic world of soundscapes they have created together.
Layers&Layers are an atmospheric indie rock band blending introspective lyrics with several textures of sound ranging from distorted chords to notes soaked in reverb.
Chris Haise Band brings hook-filled ballads, biographical storytelling, and a midwestern shine to their folk/rock table.
