This unique partnership of artist and chef is in full force at this multi-course dinner.

The collaboration of ceramic artist and chef ­– a.k.a., Milwaukee’s Plate Collective – is going strong. The next dinner is at Amilinda (315 E. Wisconsin Ave.) on Sunday, January 22 (. Plate Collective’s talented potter Kate Riley has been working with the four chefs preparing courses for the dinner. Riley customizes the dishes to what the chefs are planning to make.

The interesting twist for this event is that Riley’s husband, Dandan co-owner/chef Dan Jacobs, made the cups for the cocktail served with the amuse bouche while Riley is preparing that course. The cup is a keepsake for diners to take home. The chefs teaming up for this latest Collective dinner are: Greg Leon of Amilinda, Andrew Miller of Merriment Social and Third Coast Provisions; Jarvis Williams of SURG Restaurant Group; and Aaron Bickham of Bartolotta Restaurant Group.
