About Event

“An Unforgettable Evening” will observe the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass), the vicious Nazi programs that forecasted the extreme violence of the Holocaust, and the fateful 1939 voyage of the MS. St. Louis.

The Trial of FDR by Robert Krakow, is a 35 minute one act play telling the story of the MS St. Louis. Attorney Franklyn Gimbel will act as the prosecuting attorney and will be joined by professional actors. Several of the original passengers of the MS St. Louis will be present. The evening aims to educate and inspire, to honor those who survived the ordeal of the MS St. Louis and to remember those who did not. Reflections on Berlin, a photo exhibit by Bruce Gendelman will be on display. The public is invited.
