Widely acclaimed for their performances of standard classical repertoire, and p
roclaimed “one of the greatest quartets of our time” by the
San Francisco Chronicle,
the Pro Arte Quartet was founded over 100 years ago at the Brussels Conservatory in Belgium, and now calls Wisconsin home as the faculty string quartet in residence at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
