Celebrating its Fifth
Anniversary, the Conservatory's resident string ensemble Philomusica Quartet
performs for its 2012-13 season works by the masters Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn,
Schubert, and Bartok, as well as the moderns Glass and Part. The Philomusica
opens the series with pianist Winston Choi from Roosevelt University in
Bartok's romantic and rarely performed Piano Quintet, and welcomes Milwaukee
Symphony's Principal Cellist Susan Babini in Schubert's monumental Cello
Quintet.
All concerts are held in the Helen Bader Recital Hall at 1584 North Prospect
Avenue.
