Abby Callard
Assistant Editor
Abby Callard's journalistic pursuits have seen her covering the Hispanic community in mid-Missouri, politics in Washington, D.C., art and culture for Smithsonian magazine, the social enterprise space in India and health care in Chicago. Abby has a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She joined the magazine's staff in 2012 as an assistant editor.

Kevin Kosterman
Music Notes Writer
Kevin Kosterman is a graphic designer and freelance writer in Milwaukee. He is also a freelance guitarist who has played in several bands through the years, ranging from nationally touring alternative band to an '80s cock rock tribute band. He has logged his share of band van miles, slept on countless couches and floors, and has developed a chronic case of tinnitus. Most of all, Kosterman is a fan of music and the people who make music, which inevitably brought him to Music Notes.

Cristina Daglas
Editor
A Chicago-area native, Cristina Daglas has toiled in journalism for more than a decade in various locales - Chicago, Madison, Missouri, Washington, D.C., New York City. In 2009, she joined Milwaukee Magazine's staff as an assistant editor, taking on the role of managing editor in 2011 and editor in February 2012. Prior to Milwaukee, Daglas logged time at The Capital Times, Isthmus and Washingtonian magazine in Washington, D.C. She also edited Vox in Columbia, Mo., and was a contributing editor for The Business Times Company. Daglas holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri, where she was awarded the Thurgood Marshall Fellowship.

Tyler Maas
Music Notes Writer
Tyler Maas is a Milwaukee-based freelance writer. Although the majority of his work sits in the realms of sports, comedy and food and drink, he is also happy to ply his trade in the area of local music. Apart from fronting the both unpopular and terrible band Infinity & One (which won the Menasha High School Battle of the Bands by default - twice!) nearly a decade ago, getting way too into karaoke and owning a xylophone for some reason, Maas' musical experience is limited. But his background in journalism and his passion for the Milwaukee music scene will (hopefully) make him a valued Music Notes contributor.

Joe Guszkowski

Joe Guszkowski is a writer living in Milwaukee. He has contributed to the AV Club, Shepherd Express, and Seizure Chicken, and is now happy to work the local music beat and make puns for Music Notes. His first novel, a semi-autobiographical crime thriller tentatively titled Pizza and Coffee, has yet to be written.
