Jim Palmer has been in the advertising business in Milwaukee since moving here in 1991. He’s from New Jersey, but don’t hold that against him, he loves it here. He spent his formative years working in New York, which is probably the best place to experience baptism by fire. He has quite a litany of big brands in his work experience resume: Lipton, L’Oreal, Lego Toys, Cover Girl Cosmetics, Summerfest, Potawatomi Bingo Casino, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Admirals. He’s an avid golfer, a longtime ice hockey official (having been the head of high school hockey officials in SE Wisconsin for the last 15 years) and enjoys writing, traveling and dining out with his wife Laura.
