Irish Genie to Open in Old Judge's
Beer garden, pub fare, mini bowling. An Irish dream?

Rendering of beer garden at Irish Genie

Y’all remember Judge’s on North Avenue (1431 E.)? The fixture for UW-Milwaukee students served its last Jagerbomb in April of this year. The owners of Jefferson Street’s Bad Genie Rock Lounge are conjuring up another Genie to occupy the old stomping grounds of the familiar white and green house – an Irish Genie. Lunch, happy hour and dinner ("American pub fare with a twist," according to press materials) are part of this Genie's menu plans. Entertainment is a huge component for the Irish lads and lasses. Two mini bowling lanes are part of the package, in addition to 90-inch TVs (90 inches!) and a beer garden decked out with couches and fire pits. Target opening is November.
