MU on the Rise
Marquette, Madison jump in Forbes college ranking.
Marquette inched upward in this year's edition of the Forbes Top Colleges ranking, from 232 out of 650 schools in 2011 to 181.

UW-Madison, meanwhile, catapulted from 316 to 147, although two private colleges in northeastern Wisconsin, Saint Norbert College and Lawrence University, placed the highest of any schools in the state, at 113 and 85.

UW-Milwaukee snuck in at 615, right after the Milwaukee School of Engineering (571).
