Marcus Theatres’ Summer Film Series for Kids
Grab the kids and run to the Marcus Theatre nearest you this summer.

For the ninth year in a row, Marcus Theatres will again serve as host to the “Kids Dream Summer Film Series,” in collaboration with American Family Insurance.

During the eight-week summer program, which runs June 15 through August 13, select Marcus Theatres throughout the country will showcase a new kid-friendly film per week.  New films screen every Sunday at 10 a.m., with additional weekday screenings at 10 a.m. every Monday and Wednesday.

Affordable and kid-friendly, individual tickets for each showing are just $2! You can also pick up two FREE tickets from participating American Family Insurance agents throughout the state to use at the screening(s) of your choice. Marcus Theaters is also offering a great discount at the concession stand for those who attend: popcorn and fountain drinks for $2.50 each (special sizing applies).

Beth Novotny, a mother of two from Brown Deer, discovered the summer film series a few years ago and has attended screenings with her kids since. “You can’t beat the price! It keeps my kids entertained. It’s a great way to escape the heat and bugs for a few hours. And there have been times since we started going where I’ve been just as excited as my kids to see the latest film.”

This Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, the 2014 Kids Dream Summer Film Series kicks off with The Lego Movie, a critically-acclaimed, box office hit from earlier in the year.
