Local products get the nod this Thursday at a social event organized by Slow Food Wisconsin Southeast. Slow Social is what they’re calling it, and the products made at Clockshadow Creamery (138 W. Bruce St.) fit the slow bill. The creamery folks will offer samples of cheese curds and quark cheese, as well as Martha’s Pimento Cheese, also made at Clock Shadow. INdustri Cafe will supply appetizers; Milwaukee Brewing Co. is doing beer samples. The Clock Shadow staff will throw in some education, too, including a tour of the facility and Q&A session. The event happens this Thursday, May 9 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) Cost: $15 Slow Food members, $20 nonmembers.
