- Gov. Scott Walker's recall election was used as a litmus test for conservatism by IRS officials engaging in what has now been dubbed as scandalous behavior, according to the Journal Sentinel.
- Scoop of the day, via the Wisconsin State Journal: Walker reveals in a letter to lawmakers that he would use tax revenue from a new federal law to fund an income tax cut (he'd previously denied having any plans for the money).
