Climate change, a letter unearthed and a hitchhiker's brush with fame.
We awoke, and the world had changed. Here are some highlights.
  • A new survey of climate change research finds that a vast majority of papers written in said field support the belief held by many that human activity is causing the globe to heat up, reports the New York Times.
  • Gov. Scott Walker's recall election was used as a litmus test for conservatism by IRS officials engaging in what has now been dubbed as scandalous behavior, according to the Journal Sentinel.
  • Scoop of the day, via the Wisconsin State Journal: Walker reveals in a letter to lawmakers that he would use tax revenue from a new federal law to fund an income tax cut (he'd previously denied having any plans for the money).
  • Everyone's favorite hatchet-toting vigilante, Kai the Hatchet-Wielding Hitchhiker, has been arrested for murder in New Jersey, USA Today says.
