Milwaukee Named One of Best Cities For Cost-Conscious College Grads
It's raining lists, y'all, and Milwaukee has landed smack dab on another "top ten." In this case, we're talking about "Best Cities for Money-Savvy College Grads," a listicle compiled by Credit Donkey, a credit card comparison website.
Milwaukee ranked tenth in the survey, which examined the unemployment rate for college graduates, the local "wage premium" for an undergraduate degree (measured as a percentage of what those with undergraduate degrees make compared to those with only high school diplomas) and the cost of living. That data came from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Census Data and the Council for Community and Economic Research, respectively.
According to the survey, Indianapolis, Ind. ranked first for its "jaw-dropping" unemployment rate for those with undergraduate degrees.
