Milwaukee Beer Week is a big enough deal that the Third Ward’s Hinterland (222 E. Erie St., Suite 100) opens for its once-a-year Beer Brunch this Sunday, April 27 (10 a.m.-3 p.m.). The Hinterland boys have put their characteristic creativity into the menu, which includes house sriracha deviled eggs; crispy pork scrapple and eggs; biscuits and sausage gravy; blackened Arctic char with tasso ham and spring vegetable hash; a BLT with house-malt bacon and Jeff Leen egg, the famous Hinterland cheeseburger; wood-fired grilled skirt steak and eggs with ramp chimichurri; eggs Benedict Oscar; pleasant apple sausage and mushroom hash; and many more. A few sweets from Rocket Baby Bakery, too. Prices $5-$21. The tenders will serve up signature brunch cocktails and plan to tap a blood orange hibiscus firkin. Hinterland will also have "meat merch" for sale, including house-made breakfast meats, bacon, luna stout ham, breakfast sausage and pastrami. Click here to make a reservation.
