Wild Flower
Styled by Lizzy Lovas | Photo by Adam Ryan Morris
La Gazette du Bon Ton was a French fashion magazine that introduced its first issue in 1912 with these words: “The clothing of a woman is a pleasure for the eye that cannot be judged inferior to the other arts.” Agreed. And that’s precisely why these spring fashions marry so well with this slightly psychedelic print by Reginald Baylor, one of Milwaukee’s great contemporary artists. His floral design (with Rubik’s Cubes, jagged branches, basketballs and watermelons) is the perfect backdrop for a little edge that goes a long way – the powder-white wrap dress takes on a whole new attitude with just a few statement accessories that redefine sharp dressing. Oui oui.

These additional looks have a feminine edge perfect for spring.
Elyse dress in white by Rachel Zoe, $329 at Faye’s. Louise clutch purse in black by Vince Camuto, $148 at Boston Store. Glitz spike earrings, $22 at shoplizzibeth.com. Fly Away ring, $16 at shoplizzibeth.com.
