- The Seattle Seahawks, and Wisconsin alumni Russell Wilson, won the franchise’s first Super Bowl yesterday. The Hawks scored in the first 12 seconds of the game and never looked back. Despite the 43-8 score, both Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas set Super Bowl records.
- Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his Manhattan apartment yesterday morning, a needle still in his arm. An autopsy is planned for today.
