Morning Links has reemerged from the shadowy halls of the American news media with links to inform, inspire and enrage.
- Video from Bloomberg on Comcast's lobbying clout. Short version: They have a lot of soldiers in the fight to win approval of a merger with Time Warner Cable.
- Facebook now provides many, many more options for gender identification. Computerworld says privacy setting can be applied to one's choice, but pronouns are public. ("Wish her a happy birthday.")
- The Tonight Show opens on Monday with Jimmy Fallon at the helm. The former SNL cast members and Late Night Host is said to provide a clean break from the Jay Leno era.
NOTE: A previous version of this post misstated when Fallon would be taking over at The Tonight Show. We deeply regret the error.
