Antarctic rescue continues, tax meetings and a Facebook lawsuit.

  • Drama in the antarctic continues: A Chinese vessel that rescued passengers from a Russian icebreaker could become trapped itself, according to The New York Times.
  • The State Journal covers the release of a video showing business leaders lobbying Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch to lower taxes. The meeting was part of a series of tax roundtables planned by Gov. Walker.
  • Also in the State Journal, Sen. Tammy Baldwin is sponsoring a bill that would restore funding for small, cable access programs nationwide.
  • A class action lawsuit seeks to rattle the kingdom of Facebook. One of the arguments is that the social networking site shouldn't be scanning private messages to further amass its database of consumer information.
