c.1880's Boffo Wine Dinner
Six courses paired with selections from Sonoma's Buena Vista Winery.
Sonoma’s Buena Vista Winery makes some incredible wines. They beg for a wine dinner. There’s still time to hit up c.1880 for a reservation for their BV wine dinner this Monday (Nov. 18, 7 p.m.). Chef/owner Tom Hauck's six courses include pork belly with coffee, cherry and smoked potato (paired with a BV 2010 Pinot Noir); Ivory Arctic char with citrus, fennel, and honeycrisp (2009 Chardonnay); and short rib with horseradish, shallot confit, and root vegetable (2012 BV "The Count" Founders Red). Cost: $110 per person, including wine. Call 414-431-9271 or email joshua@c1880.com. (1100 S. First St.)
