A cursory glance at TMJ4’s social media accounts at the bottom of its website revealed a glaring error. The Twitter icon links to a bogus account, misleadingly named @todaystmj4. The fake account extols the virtues of “Participating in a Getaway on Twiting [sic]” and “Gaining $850 everyday” through self-employment. We’re not entirely sure what that means, but it would probably be in the station’s best interest to, you know, link to the proper account.
The news station’s real account, @tmj4, is still running fine. Although the fake account had no tweets or followers as of this morning, it was following six Twitter-verified accounts, including Blake Shelton, Barack Obama and NASCAR, naturally.
