“An Unforgettable Evening” will observe the 75th
anniversary of Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass), the vicious Nazi programs
that forecasted the extreme violence of the Holocaust, and the fateful 1939
voyage of the MS. St. Louis.
Trial of FDR by Robert Krakow, is a 35 minute one act play telling
the story of the MS St. Louis. Attorney Franklyn Gimbel will act as the
prosecuting attorney and will be joined by professional actors. Several of the
original passengers of the MS St. Louis will be present. The evening aims to
educate and inspire, to honor those who survived the ordeal of the MS St. Louis
and to remember those who did not. Reflections on Berlin, a photo exhibit by
Bruce Gendelman will be on display. The public is invited.
