In Tandem Theatre presents “Burying the Bones” by M.E.H. Lewis, October 4-27, 2013. Set in South Africa at the end of Apartheid, Mae seeks answers to the disappearance of her school teacher husband, James. Against the advice of her more politically savvy sister, Mae goes to the recently formed Truth and Reconciliation Commission for answers. The more Mae learns, the more she realizes how little she understands. A suspenseful account of one woman’s journey to find the truth. "...literate, complex and provocative.." -Chicago Tribune
